 Zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr veranstaltet das Gordon-Institute for Music Learning einen Professional Course für Klavierlehrer:innen HYBRID.

Er besteht aus 6 Online-Seminaren jeweils Sonntags von 17:00-22:00 MEZ zwischen 17. Mai und 28.Juni 2026 und einem Praxis-Workshop in Person vom 20.-24. Juli 2026 in Koblenz.

Anknüpfend an die Tradition von Marilyn Lowe, die in den vergangenen 20 Jahren bis zu ihrem Tod 2022 mehrfach im Kammermusiksaal Ehrenbreitstein bei Helga Mohr-Zschenderlein Workshops zu Music Moves for Piano gehalten hat, wird der Praxisteil für Kolleg:innen aus Europa genau dort stattfinden.

PDLCs (Professional Development Levels Courses) are in-depth learning experiences designed specifically for music educators. PDLCs go beyond a one-time workshop by offering structured content, practical application, and opportunities for reflection and growth over time. The GIML Piano PDLC Level 1 focuses on building a strong foundation in audiation-based piano instruction, supporting teachers in developing musically independent, confident students.

As an added bonus, anyone who registers before February 28 will receive a free 20-minute one-on-one call with a member of the GIML Piano faculty. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, get personalized guidance, and connect more deeply with the GIML Piano community.
